Open letter to Genelia

Dear Genelia,

My name is Murali Krishna. I am a big fan of Telugu movies but not in particular of any heroine until I saw the movie BOYS. You are not only beautiful in the movie but acted well and able to bring out all the emotions quite well in the first movie itself. Since then i have not missed any movie of yours. You have one of the most beautiful, beautiful and lovely smiles in the world which always mesmerises me. It gives a soothing touch to my heart whenever i see your smile or imagine your face with a simle. I always remember the scene in the song Nallaaa Nallani Kalla pilla (from the film SYE) where you lean backward with a lovely smile and with beautiful expressions in your eyes. awesome....

Honestly, till now you have done quite a number of films which portrayed you as a bubbly, chubby heorine. All those roles were good and suited your age. Even though you did good films like SATYAM, SYE, etc the roles in other films are meaty and limited with few scenes and songs not giving you opportunity to show your acting skills. You are always good in doing comic, heart touching scenes and dance sequences but required improvement in doing emotional scenes. My friends and cousins always pull my legs that you are a limited actor and I used to tell them that you are a brilliant actress but did not come across a script to show your talent.

Then came the film HAPPY. You improved a lot as an actress in that movie especially in the emotional scenes which was a good improvement when compared to your earlier films. I felt that with the film HAPPY an actress called GENELIA was born who showed that she is ease at doing comic, emotional and heart touching scenes.

And then came the most brilliant film Bommarillu. You are like a breath of fresh air in that film. Simply put..... beautiful ANGEL with lovely smile. They say it is very difficult to act, talk with eyes but in Bommarillu you showed that you are good at both and if provided with good roles you can be the best. The way you portrayed the character of HAASINI was brilliant. can't imagine any other heroine doing justice to the role the way you did it. The expressions you showed in each and every scene in the film shows how good an actress you are. After watching the movies HAPPY and BOMMARILLU my friends and cousins even changed their opinion. I felt proud about it.

But I have one complaint for you. Even though you are doing number of Telugu films, you r are not learning the Telugu language. still see you speaking in Hindi or English in interviews, etc. Please Please learn the language and hope that one day you do the dubbing for your own beautiful and husky voice in Telugu films. One small suggestion, from now onwards we want to see Genelia doing good roles like you did in BOMMARILLU, HAPPY, SATYAM, SYE and experiment in the nicest possible way, but do not do films like NAA ALLUDU, RAM, etc. You are always the best in doing bubbly, chubby, lovable characters in films and certainly we do not want to miss that from you. Please send me a personally signed photograph of yours since i do not have any. Hoping to meet you in person in future when you come to Hyderabad.
