Openletter to Pawan Kalyan

Dear Mr. Kalyan Babu

I am an ardent fan of you. I saw 'Johnny' movie on the first day first show. Though I am disappointed a bit for lack of commercial values, I felt proud that you delivered an ultimate class film.

I took my family and went to the Srinivasa Theater in Ongole again for the first show on Sunday (28th April 2003). To my utter dismay I came to know that the following vital scenes are edited by the exhibitors on their own …..

1. The scene in which Kalyan goes and asks Raghuvaran for money.
2. The scene where Kalyan and Renu enters the guest house in Mumbai.
3. The introduction scene of Ali in the café.
4. The entire hospital scenes are deleted except for the first scene where the doc asks Kalyan to pay fees.
5. The scene in which Renu collapses by vomiting blood before climax.
6. The scene in which doc asks Kalyan to arrange 2 lakhs.

I feel that above mentioned scenes are the only points that guide the narration of Johnny in second half. By cutting those scenes, the story in entire second went for a toss. Now this film offers no meaningful story.

You have taken so many precautions before the release of the film like giving legal notices, MP3 notices, logo patent notices etc. But after the release of the film, Johnny has come to such a situation that projector operators in cinema halls are cutting the film as per their will and wish with an intention to save the film from becoming a disaster.

I wish you would take some precautions to restrict the senseless editing by the exhibitors
