An
open letter to Pawan Kalyan
Hello Pawan Kalyan,
I am an ardent fan of Telugu films. To be precise I love skilled
filmmakers. And it took no time for me and many others to slot you
in the category of master technicians. It's a rare feature to be
associated with any top-class hero.
Though it may be unaccepted by a few, your adroitness in the technical
side over shadow your hero image. Till your foray into the tinsel
world Telugu film used to be loaded with turbulent fight sequences.
Thanks to your style that received applauds from every corner of
the industry. Fight-masters revived their approach. It would be
good to see others take a leaf from your book but what hurts me
is that they copy your style with out any innovation (AADHI first
fight).
The qualities that make you stand apart from the rest are firstly,
the time you take to review the script, searching for the best cast
which suits it, culling the best possible techno team, working out
all the possibilities in the PK Creative Labs set up for this sole
purpose. Secondly, I like your attitude in keeping away from the
media to the best possible extent to avoid unnecessary hype. Many
whine that the snag they have is you always ghost-direct but what
matters at the end is whether you are successful in delivering a
hit or not? I read in an interview that you believe in hard work.
This surely is reflected in every work you deliver.
To err is human and I feel that after all too are human. Don't you
think that some amount of cliché is being creeped in to your
films? Thammudu and Kushi have a song (NOT EXACTLY A SONG) sung
by you. EETHA CHETTU (Thammudu) and RAMANAMMA (Kushi).Fights with
intermittent dialogues. It seems you are very good at dancing but
not much care is being attended in that aspect. What surprises is
that till date we did not have the pleasure to see a film on karate,
which is your forte. If rumors are to be believed I heard that a
film on AKIDO is on the reckoning.
But to conclude I say that you have been a trendsetter in many aspect
of filmmaking. But if you manufacture only a film an year that may
not satiate you fans want.
Wish
you succeed in all you future works,
nagakalyan
