The feud between Manchu Mohan Babu and his younger son Manchu Manoj took a dramatic turn on Monday, with the former alleging threat to his life from the latter and his better half Monika.
In a letter to the commissioner of police, Rachakonda commissionerate on Monday, Mohan Babu alleged that Manoj caused disturbance at his Jalpally residence in Hyderabad outskirts. For this act, Babu alleged that Manoj employed some anti-social elements.
He added that on Sunday morning, he noticed some unfamiliar individuals stationed at his house. “While at my office in Madhapur at 10:30 AM one of my employees informed me that approximately 30 individuals, claiming to be associates of my son Mr. Manoj, forcibly trespassed into my residence. They threatened my staff with dire consequences, evicted them from the property and declared that no one could enter the house without their permission.
“I feel for my safety, my valuables and my property. I have been informed that these individuals are waiting for me to return to my house with the intent to harm me and instill fear, compelling me to abandon my residence permanently,” he noted.
He further stated that Manoj and his wife have devised this plan to “unlawfully take possession of my house through intimidation and force”. “I am a senior citizen aged about 78 years. Their actions, supported by hired individuals, pose a grave threat to my life and property,” he revealed.
Babu sought the police intervention to evict Manoj and his wife from his property, take appropriate legal action against them and provide him security cover.
