Nandamuri Kalyanram is lining up one project after the other. In the last stages of filming #NKR21 with Raja Cheyyi Vesthe fame Pradeep Chilukuri presently, the actor, sources tell us, has agreed to front-line Kumari 21F and 18 Pages fame Palnati Surya Pratap’s next.

A source close to the development confirms to us, “The actor liked the idea that Pratap shared in the first sitting itself. He gave some suggestions to the director, who took some time and developed the script accordingly. The actor is someone who doesn’t associate with run-of-the-mill stories and this story of Pratap was commercial yet different, prompting him to give his nod. It’s an action film with a lot of emotion.”

The source adds that the project, however, will not take the actor’s precedence immediately. “He has agreed to do the next film of a two-film old director up next and after completing it, he will shift attention to Bimbisara 2, which is a passion project and whose scripting is complete. After a schedule or two of Bimbisara 2 or before, he will begin Pratap’s film, which will be produced by NTR Arts in association with another production house,” the source reveals.

Further, the source says that Pratap has come up with the story of this untitled film. The story and screenplay of his previous two films–Kumar 21F and 18 Pages–have been written by his mentor Sukumar, while this time around, Pratap has developed an original idea into a full-blown screenplay.
