The trailer of HIT 3-The Third Case was unveiled at an event in Vizag on Monday and it is intense and gets gruesome towards the end, with Nani firing on all cylinders as Arjun Sarkaar in what is his most violent role yet.

Clocking in at over three minutes and 30 seconds, the trailer opens with Arjun Sarkaar (Nani) stating to a senior officer that criminals belong in prison or deep inside a six feet hole. There are no two ways about it for him. “No criminal should roam the society freely without behavioral correction,” he believes. He is moved by the plight of a woman who describes what she went through when her nine-month old daughter is abducted. He is on a manhunt to locate the perpetrator as the case takes him to places across the country, testing his resolve and patience. In between, the trailer is interspersed with romance as Srinidhi Shetty plays Arjun’s love interest. As the trailer unfurls and Sarkaars’s task mounts, he is told by a character that he can’t survive at the place where he wants to find the truth but Sarkaar has heard that before, in fact from his career beginning. It gets horrific as it nears culmination–so unexpected of Nani who commands a sizable following among family audience–but the nature of his character is such that he is prepared to give his life for the task at hand. It concludes with a character saying ab ki baar Arjun Sarkaar. Now, that’s a terrific line by Sailesh.

In conclusion, the trailer prepares the audience for an adrenaline rush as Nani as the fearless Sarkaar is in full action mode to nab a dreaded criminal. Offering a peek into a dark and gritty world where stakes are pretty high, the trailer unfolds at a brisk pace and strikes a balance between suspense and drama in true HIT franchise style– the only difference is the scale is relatively bigger this time around. Action, emotion, drama, thrill, and intrigue with a dollop of Nani’s unpredictable swag–the trailer promises a gripping ride throughout. Srinidhi in her Telugu debut is alluring. Sanu John Varghese’s frames build tension and a sense of overwhelming mystery while Mickey’s score amps up the emotion.

Written and directed by Sailesh Kolanu and produced by Prashanti Tipirneni, HIT 3 blazes into cinemas on May 1st. It’s time for Sarkaar’s rule.
