At the heart of the recent blockbuster Court, which was backed by Nani under his Wall Poster Cinema, was a love story which was brought to life by actors Harsh Roshan and Sridevi (in her debut) with their sizzling chemistry. Harsh, in particular, received plaudits for the way he went about Chandoo, displaying a sense of confidence, immaturity and vulnerability the part offered, with precision. Having played key parts in films like Salaar, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram and Swag in the recent past, Court gave an impetus to his young career and no wonder he’s on the radar of many producers.

One such producer who locked the actor is Dil Raju, who incidentally distributed Court across Nizam region. According to sources, he will be producing a new film with Harsh under his newly floated banner Dil Raju Dreams. Partnering Raju on this endeavour would be Krishna Kommalapati of Arunachal Creations. He produced films like Jawaan, starring Sai Tej, and Krishnamma, featuring Satyadev, in the past.

A source close to the development confirms to us, “This new film, titled Tella Kagitham, is a rural love story set in 2003 Andhra Pradesh. It will be close to reality and hard-hitting like 7/G Brindavan Colony and Premisthe. Nandu Savirigana, who played in a part writing dialogue for films like Samajavaragamana and Daaku Mahaaraj along with his good friend Bhanu Bogavarapu, has penned the film’s script, while Ramesh, who worked as an assistant director on Samajavaragamana, will be debuting as a director with the flick, which will go to floors later this summer.”
