Anushka, Rana starrer Rudrama Devi was launched earlier today (Feb 14) in Warangal. Gunasekhar is directing and producing the film. Anushka and Gunasekhar attended the opening ceremony and the first shot on the Shiva Lingam in the 1000 pillared temple in Warangal. Rana is playing the role of prince Chalukya Veerabhadra who marries Rudrama Devi. The film is said to be India's first 3D historical film and the shooting will begin soon. Anushka is going to play the role of Rani Rudrama Devi who was one of the most famous rulers of Kakatiya Dynasty. Ilayaraja is scoring the music and Ajayan Vincent is the cinematographer.
