Unit members of the film Ullasanga Utsahanga today held a success meet at their production office in Hyderabad. Made on Sri Amruth Arts banner, the film directed by A. Karunakaran (of Toliprema fame) was released yesterday through Dil Raju's distribution network.
Director Karunakaran said: "Generally, I used to visit temples during the release of my films. But, this time (for Ullasanga Utsahanga), I watched the opening show of the film in Hyderabad along with the cast and crew. So far our reports said that all theatres were full. The audience was seen enjoying the film a lot. I believe that we succeeded in taking the film to the root of the target. Music became an added advantage to us." Replying to a question, Karunakaran claimed that the "Vaddu Saroja" episode in the film was based on a real incident in his life. "At the dubbing work, the sound engineer couldn't control his laughter and suddenly barged out of the studio. Pre-release, even Dil Raju came out with a positive word. The Telugu audience always showed special liking for my films. I thank them for making this film a big hit."
Heroine Sneha Ullal said: "I am excited to be part of Karunakaran's film. Overall, I devoted 90 working days and all through the director made me feel at home, always encouraging and exploring the possibility of culling out the best performance from me. I am overwhelmed at this success. At the same time, I am scared of the responsibilities further. Certainly, this film (UU) is better than my debut film in Bollywood."
Hero Yasho Sagar simply thanked the audience for "giving a hit talk" to the film. His father BC Somu flanked by his production partner said that they watched the film just like ordinary audience and claimed that the film would become a blockbuster with "100 days or even 25 weeks.
