Suresh
Gopi's latest Malayalam film Bharat Chandra (sequel
of Police Commissioner) became a huge blockbuster.
Konda Krishnam Raju is dubbing this film in Telugu.
Suresh Gopi met the press today evening at Green Park
hotel -
Producer
Konda Krishnam Raju said, "Police Commissioner
that was released in 1994 was a sensational hit. After
11 years, the same team joined together to make Bharat
Chandra as a sequel to Police Commissioner. Bharat
Chandra (Malayalam) was released on 4th of August
and it became a huge blockbuster. Telugu dubbing work
is currently going on. We are planning to release
Bharat Chandra in the third week of December 2005."
Hero
Suresh Gopi said, "It is quite nice to
be in AP. This is my 3rd trip to Hyderabad. I acted
in around 200 films so far out of which 40 films are
cop films. My next film Tiger would be releasing on
16th of December in Kerala. Shriya Reddy played another
important role in the film. I got standing ovation
in theaters for Bharat Chandra film. Bharat Chandra
provides a thoughtful discussion on economic terrorism,
cultural terrorism and communal terrorism created
by the politicians. Though there are only two major
fights in the film, there are powerful punch dialogues
for every 8 minutes in the film. The story of the
film is based on real incidents. I hope that Bharat
Chandra would become a blockbuster in Telugu too."
