Rajiv Kanakala's new film, a murder mystery, is today launched at Annapoorna studios, Hyderabad. Made on Joshika Sai Lakshmi Films as Production No. 1, it has Mohith (Aithe fame) and Vijay Samrat playing the male leads along with Rajiv, while female leads are Sindhu Tolani and Suhasini. Senior director A. Kodandarami Reddy sounded the clapboard on Rajiv-Srinivasa Reddy(comedian)-Suhasini. TFPC president Tammareddy Bharadwaja switched on the camera and K. Raghavendra Rao rendered the first shot direction. Later, a press meet was held.
Murder mystery in new pattern
Rajiv Kanakala said: "The film is about a murder mystery. It is made as a new pattern of thriller. The script and screenplay are such that the audience will find so many twists, making their guess fail till the climax. I am playing the role of an investigating officer, but with a comedy tinge."
Debut experience with thriller
Suhasini (One of the heroines) said: "When I heard the subject, I was very much excited. Definitely, the film is going to provide me a new experience with a murder mystery film. Also, I am happy very happy to be working with good artistes and technicians."
Vijay Samrat said: "I am playing very crucial role and all the characters revolve round that of mine. I feel great working with hero Rajiv Kanakala."
Phani Raj said: "This film will definitely give a very thrilling experience and at the same time much comedy to the audiences. I specially thank my producer for giving me this opportunity."
D. Ramesh Babu said: "Though it is my first venture, director Phani Raj and other technicians have come forward to extend their cooperation, keeping in view of the budget factor. It is a tight-knit project with commitment from all sides. Regular shoot will commence from today. We hope to finish the film by September end or early October. The entire movie will have ten characters."
The cast includes: Mumaith Khan, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, MS Narayana, AVS, Srinivasa Reddy, Geetha Singh and Melkote.
