Chiranjeevi and Srikanth - dressed in their attires of Shankar Dada MBBS film - graced the opening of Sai Kumar's new film 'Slokam' in the direction of Bharat. Incidentally 27th July is the birthday of Sai Kumar. Chiranjeevi sounded the clap to this film. Srikanth switched on the camera. B Gopal directed the first shot.

Hero Sai Kumar celebrated his 44th birthday by cutting a cake amidst his fans at Prasad Labs. Sai Kumar said that he was born and brought up in Telugu film industry. He did his first film at the age of 12. The Kannada film Police Story got him a tremendous mass image and since then he did many successful Kannada flicks.

Sai Kumar is playing the role of Srisailam Vivekananda Sharma in 'Slokam' film. This film has college backdrop.
